Mozelle Whitten, 87 of Seymour, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018 in Seymour.
Services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Mozelle was born April 2, 1931 in Seymour to Henry and Mary Gerik Mazac. She was a 1948 graduate of Seymour High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for Farm Gas and co-owned and operated Needleworks in Seymour for many years. She was a member of the Red Springs Baptist Church. Mozelle was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Mazac and 3 brothers, George Mazac, Jim Mazac and J.B. Mazac.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Christy Dawkins and husband, Joe and Gaile Myers and husband, Mike all of Seymour and Becky Shay of Kingwood; a brother, Henry Mazac of Ft. Worth; a sister, Eva Watts of Austin; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
