Obituary
Larry Machen, 81, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023 in Wichita Falls.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Henson Cemetery in Red Springs with Joe Mac Petit officiating under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Larry was born March 9, 1942 in Seymour to Glen and Kathleen Owen Machen. He was a graduate of Seymour High School. Larry married Edna K. Phillips on March 27, 1965 in Dumas. She preceded him in death on March 5, 2008. Larry worked for GTE/Valor/ Windstream for 50 years.
Survivors include his son, Mark and Ann Machen of Midland; 2 daughters, Pam and Billy Farrington of Sachse and Krissi and Troy Berry of Denton; a brother, Tommy Machen of Seymour; other special people in his life, Julia Griffin of Wichita Falls and her family; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
