Alice Tovar

Alice Tovar, 87, of Waco passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in Waco.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 25, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Seymour Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Alice was born October 26, 1930 in Vernon to Jose and Magdalena Garza Montez. She married Trinidad Tovar on April 30, 1949 in Seymour. He preceded her in death in January of 1983. She was a homemaker and worked on the farm. Alice was member of the Catholic Church.

She is survived by 5 daughters, Rosemary Akers of Burkburnett, Lois Lawrence of Saginaw, Susan Orozco of Ft. Worth and Cecilia Alexander of Chicago; 4 sons, Rudolph Tovar and Tony Tovar both of Graham, David Tovar of Saginaw and Henry Tovar of Ft. Worth; 2 brothers, Emilio Montez and Micky Montez; a sister, Emma Montez; 24 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
