Allen Rogers, 50, of Seymour, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 in Olney.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Allen Lynn Rogers was born October 16, 1963 in Haskell to Allen Dale and Cheri McKinney Overton. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and lived most of his life in Haskell and Seymour. Allen worked as a roofer. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Survivors include a sister, Diann Rentfro of Seymour; a brother, Greg Rogers, Sr. of Seymour; 2 nephews, Michael Rogers and Greg Rogers, Jr., both of Seymour; a cousin, Regina Hawthorn of Baird; and many friends in Seymour and Haskell.
