Ann Collier, 85 of Seymour passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 in Seymour.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., in the Riverview Cemetery with Dr. David Warren officiating, under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Ann was born July 15, 1935 in Seymour to Bill and Ione Brown Slaggle and was a graduate of Seymour High School. She married Gerald Wayne Collier on September 16, 1961 in Vernon. Ann helped her husband on the farm, took care of the home and worked full time as a clerk for Baylor Drug and Fergeson Drug. She was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the Seymour Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. Ann was preceded in death by her husband on December 26, 2003; an infant son in 1962; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn and Danny Blackard of Seymour; 4 grandchildren, Carley and Colter Ellis, Coby and Summer Blackard, Jacee Blackard and Jerica Blackard; 3 great granddaughters, Madalyn, Paisley and Dixie and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to the Baylor County Jr. Livestock Show or Beyond Faith Hospice.
