Gail Carlock, 72 of Seymour, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019 in Seymour.

Services will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Henson Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Beverly was born October 31, 1946 in Seymour to Grady and Mozelle Harris Hardin. She attended Vera schools and graduated from Seymour High School. Beverly received a Bachelors of Science degree in Education from Midwestern State University with an emphasis in Special Education. She taught school in Goree, Seymour, Muenster and Wichita Falls for a total of 41 years. Beverly married Billy Joe Carlock on January 28, 1967 in Seymour and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Mozelle Hardin and her two brothers, Garry Hardin and Mickey Hardin.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Carlock of Seymour; a son, Brian Carlock and wife, Becky of China Spring, Texas; a daughter, Belinda Lloyd and husband, Jonathan of Detroit, Texas; 2 sisters-in-law, Lou Jane Hardin and Brenda Hardin; 5 grandchildren, Braxton Carlock, Haden Carlock, Timothy Lloyd, Garret Lloyd and Baylee Lloyd and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association or the Henson Cemetery Association.
