   Services will be held Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ryan Ford officiating. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

   Billye was born May 12, 1934 in Round Timber to J.B. and Blanche Howard Guthrie. She was a 1951 graduate of Seymour High School. Billye married Gene Ed Snyder, Sr. on June 17, 1951 in Round Timber. Gene Ed passed away on February 18, 1999. She worked for GTE, at the Seymour Hospital as a Nutritionist and as a case manager with the MHMR group for the Helen Farabee Outreach. She served as a Boy Scout Leader and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Billye loved going to the lake and square dancing. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Guthrie.

   She is survived by 3 sons, Gary and Jeanne Snyder, David and Rhonda Snyder and Eddie and Angie Snyder all of Seymour; a daughter, Vickie Dawn Snyder of Dallas; a sister, Sue Cooper of Seymour; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

   Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
