Carlton Harold Brock, longtime resident of Wichita Falls, known to his family and friends as Carlton, passed away on August 14, 2026 in Wichita Falls, at the age of 85.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., in the Round Timber Cemetery with Wes Ward officiating, under the direction of Archer Funeral Home, Seymour, Texas.

Carlton was born on March 9, 1941 in Seymour to Harold and Melba Brock. He earned degree in Biology from the University of North Texas and later earned his Master’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Oklahoma. He devoted his career to serving others as the owner and pharmacist of Guffy’s Drug Store in Wichita Falls. He was a hard worker, a devoted provider and a charitable person with a generous heart, always willing to help others. His faith was central to his life. Carlton was a member of the Assemblies of God as well as an ordained minister. He loved the Lord with all his heart and was passionate about sharing the Gospel with others.

Outside of his work and ministry, Carlton loved spending time at his family farm, hunting, being with his grandchildren and enjoying time with family and friends. He was known as a friend to all and a great storyteller who could always bring people together.

Carlton is survived by his children, Kyle Brock and wife, Rhonda of College Station and Stephanie Brock and husband, Richard McCullough; step-daughter, Pamela Ward and husband, Joe of Rockwall; grandchildren, Kayla Holderman, Bailey Cardenas, Kennedy Johnson, Kade McCullough, Rachel Ward, Rebekah Ward and Jacob Ward; great grandchildren, Haven Conner Johnson and Collins Kaye Holderman; nephew, Todd Ward; great nephew, Colton Ward; great niece, Lauren Constancie and a host of many friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Brock; his son, Jason Brock; his siblings, Gerry Ward and George Brock and his parents, Harold and Melba Brock.

Carlton will be remembered for his unwavering faith, charitable heart, hard work and love for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, friendship, service and love that will continue through the many lives he touched.
