Curtis L Warren

Curtis La'mont Warren was born on January 22, 1973 in Richmond, California to Curtis Warren, Sr. and Samantha Warren.

Curtis came to Seymour when he was 6 years old and attended school. He went back to Richmond when he was 12 and stayed until he graduated from Richmond High School in 1991. Following graduation, he moved back to Seymour. Curtis accepted Christ at an early age.

He met and married Kathy Thomas, to this union two children were born. He worked for the State Hospital in Vernon and WalMart in Wichita Falls.

He was stricken with diabetes at the age of 25 and battled the disease for 20 years. Curtis remained in the Seymour community until his untimely death. On the morning of May 2, 2018, God called Curtis's name and he answered God's call. Curtis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Samuel and Pearl Luckey and Murphy and Alberta Wright; 5 uncles, Don Roy Luckey, Jeff Luckey, Bobby Joe Luckey, Samuel Luckey, Jr. and Leon Wright; and a sister, LaTasha Warren.

Services will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church with Elder Robert Mergerson officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Rolling Hills Memorial Park in Richmond, California. Services are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Curtis leaves to mourn his passing his mother, Samantha Luckey; 3 children, Casharrie Warren, Casean Warren and Colton Warren Stone; a sister, Carrie S. Walker and a brother, Kevin D. Mullins.

Visitation will be from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
