Dena (Casey) Hostas

Dena Casey Hostas, 57 of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in Seymour.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Bomarton Cemetery with Benny Archer and Father Bose Jujuvarapu officiating, under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Dena was born November 8, 1963 in Lockney to Donice and Sue Adams Casey.  She was a 1982 graduate of Lockney High School.  She married Curtis Worthington in 1984, together the couple had their daughter, Casey.  She received her LVN certification in May of 1999 from Clarendon College.  From 1999 until 2003, Dena worked at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, then worked for a year at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.  She worked from 2004 until 2020 at the Seymour Rural Health Clinic and most recently at the Foard County Medical Clinic in Crowell.  Dena loved being a nurse.  Dena married Kevin Hostas on July 1, 2005 in Seymour.  She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and George Strait.  Dena was a devoted Granny and Denny to her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Hostas of Seymour; her daughter, Casey and Joe Kolacek of Seymour; 2 step-daughters, Jenni and Klifton Moline of Seymour and Marci Hostas of Lake Dallas; her parents, Donice Casey of Seymour and Sue Adams of Midwest City, Ok; a brother, Denis and Carol Casey of McCloud, Ok; a sister, Dee and Doug Harrison of Oklahoma City and her 4 beloved grandchildren, Sterley Kolacek, Jackson Moline, Blake Moline and Dawson Moline.

Visitation will be from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m., Saturday at Mosler Hall.

The family suggests memorials to the Catholic Church Olde World Dinner Fund or Baylor County Junior Livestock.
