Emma Jean "Honey" Dickey, 75 of Seymour, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 in Wichita Falls.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Harvest Christian Fellowship. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Emma Jean was born April 1, 1943 in Shamrock to Roy and Chloe Hanes McMullen. She was a 1961 graduate of Shamrock High School. She married Gerald Tate following graduation. The couple lived the majority of their marriage in McLean, Texas and had 3 children. Gerald passed away in 1987. She married Jim McDonald in 1988 and he passed away in November of 2007. She had been friend s with her soul mate, Terry Dickey, for over 20 years before marrying him on Super Bowl Sunday, February 5, 2012 in McLean. She worked most of her life as a homemaker, a caregiver and a babysitter.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Dickey of Seymour; 3 children, Mark Tate and wife, Paige of McLean, Lee Ann Feenstra and husband, David of Stanfield, AZ and Kara Fox and husband, Logan of Seymour; 4 step-children, Trevor McDonald, Paige Tate, Brad Dickey and John Dickey; a brother, Roy Lynn McMullen of Sand Springs, OK; 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the funeral home.
