Evelyn D Leichliter

Evelyn Doris Leichliter, 83, of Seymour passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in Wichita Falls.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 1, 2017 in the West End Cemetery in Stephenville under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Evelyn was born March 10, 1934 in Huckabay, Texas to Doyle and Alma Crabtree Smith. She was a graduate of Burbank High School. While attending California State College in Los Angeles, Evelyn successfully challenged to enter law school. She completed law school at Whittier College in Los Angeles. She worked for over 30 years in Medical Staff Services in large hospitals. She came to Seymour on Nov. 2, 2000 from Los Angeles.

She is survived by 2 sons, Taylor Correll of Portland, Oregon and Bob Correll of Seymour; 1 daughter, Kathy Reynolds of Murrietta, California; 4 grandchildren, Thomas, Katy, Lisa and Lora; 1 brother, James Smith of Dublin and 1 sister, Helen Thornbrugh of Yucaipa, California.
