Jeannie Coffman

Wanda Sue "Jeannie" Coffman, 80 of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018 in Seymour.

Graveside services will be held Monday, September 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., in the Goree Cemetery with Benny Archer officiating under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Jeannie was born January 25, 1938 in Seymour to Sutton and Madge Eggeleston Beasley. She was a graduate of Vera High School and received her Bachelors degree in elementary education from Midwestern State University. Jeannie married Derrell Coffman on August 25, 1959 in Red Spring, Texas. He died October 11, 2003. Jeannie taught school for 43 years. She also delivered mail for the U.S. Postal System and worked at our local United Grocery Store.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Madgeana Dutton and husband, Darran of Iowa Park and Shanna Carlock and husband, Carl of Seymour; 4 grandchildren, Molly Christensen and husband, Andy of Lewisville, Hagan Dutton of Iowa Park, Gauge Carlock and Creed Carlock both of Seymour; and 1 great grandchild, Ryder Carlock of Seymour.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
