Jerry Lee Harris

Jerry Lee Harris, 64, passed away on August 23,2024. He was born to Dorothy Ponders and Otis Harris. He was a beloved father and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Jerry was born on July 11, 1960 in Calhoun, GA where he spent his formative years. He kept people rolling in laughter because he could find humor in the most mundane circumstances. He had a passionate love affair with ice cream. Jerry farmed and ranched for many years. He worked in the carpet mills and laying concrete. He was really a jack of all trades.

But more than anything, Jerry was a devoted father. He loved spending time with his children, sharing stories, playing games, and watching their favorite TV shows (old reruns of westerns). He was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement, no matter what challenges they faced.

In his free time, Jerry enjoyed fishing, watching tv and spending time with his grandkids.

Jerry is survived by his children, Lynelle Remillard, Justin Harris, Cody Harris and his grandchildren, Trent, Isabel, Chase, Taylor, Annie, Emma, Trinity, Haiden, Ben, Mistya and great grandson Gabe. Let's not forget his favorite pup, Buddy. He is also survived by Michelle Ridenour, his former wife and the mother to his children. He was a proud Papaw. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

A private funeral service will be held for family and close friends.  Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
