Jerry Nickerson, 73 of Seymour, passe away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 in Seymour.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Round Timber Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Jerry was born on June 16, 1951 in Seymour to Floyd and Pawnee Payne Nickerson. He was a 1970 graduate of Seymour High School. Jerry married Brenda Howe on June 25, 1970 in Seymour. He worked in the oil field most of his life. Jerry loved fishing and was a stink bait connoisseur. He was known as the red dodge man with the black dog, “Gus” and selling his stink bait.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Nickerson of Seymour; a daughter, Ginger Miller of Archer City and 2 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Miller and Kolton Miller, both of Archer City.
Visitation will be from 6:30 until 7:30 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
