Jerry Lee "Sticker" Thorn

Jerry Lee “Sticker” Thorn, 80 of Seymour, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026 in Wichita Falls.

Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Sticker was born on December 20, 1945 in Seymour to John and Nevada Elam Thorn. He started working in the oilfields in 1967. He left the oilfield and moved back to Seymour in 1970, where he started truck driving. He drove to every state in the continental US. In 2004, he began working for Arvin Peters, cutting hay then in 2013 for Cody Coltharp and Klifton Moline, He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Sticker was preceded in death by his parents, John and Nevada Thorn; 3 brothers, James “J.D.” Thorn, Roy Thorn and Wesley Thorn; his sister, Janelle Sturgeon and a grandson, Jeffery James Elbert Thorn.

He is survived by his son, Jeffery Thorn of Goldthwaite; a granddaughter, Cindy Bender of Jacksonville, FL; a great grandson, Grey Bender and numerous nieces and nephews.
