Jimmy Wardlow, 84,of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015, in Seymour.
Services will be on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., at the Church of Christ at 9
th
and Columbia in Plainview. Burial will follow in the Plainview Cemetery with military honors, under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Jimmy was born October 10, 1930 in Nazareth to Carrol and Mattie Ruth Davis Wardlow. He attended school in Plainview and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. He married Rubie Webb on February 24, 1978 in Aiken, Texas. He worked as an equipment operator for Southwestern Public Service, retiring in 1995.
Survivors include his wife, Rubie Wardlow of Seymour; 3 sons, Mike Wardlow of Ft. Worth, Jerry Wardlow of North Richland Hills and Alton Hancock of Amarillo.
Visitation will be from
4:00 until 6:00 p.m.
, Friday at Archer Funeral Home, Seymour, Texas, and from
10:00 a.m
until service time on Monday at the Church of Christ in Plainview.
The family suggests memorials to the the Seymour Church of Christ Building Fund or Youth Group, or the Baylor County 4-H.
