John W Moore

John Wilburn "Johnny" Moore passed away at his home in Cedar Hill, TX on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the age of 73. He was born March 4, 1944 in Seymour, TX to Tom and Ruth Moore.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Elizabeth "Bunky" Barnes, and his brother, Thomas Ray "Sonny" Moore.
He cherished spending time with his grandchildren and was so proud as he watched them grow and achieve many accomplishments. He never tired of spending time with his family and went hunting whenever he was able. Johnny was a country boy at heart and loved tending to his cattle. His mischievous sense of humor and stories of the old days will be greatly missed.
His survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Regenia Moore, daughter and son in law, Chris and Mitzie Underwood of Waxahachie, son and daughter in law, Cody and Michelle Moore of Arlington , daughter Ladana Crews of Lindale and son and daughter in law Jeff and Whitney Crews also of Lindale. Grandchildren, Tanner Underwood, Joseph Moore, Samantha Moore, Kelsey Crews, Branson Underwood, Makenna Crews, Keegan Underwood, Zackery Moore and great grandson Elijah Crews.
The Rev Jim Ritter will officiate the services to be held Thursday October 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church in Seymour, TX. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home, Seymour, Texas.
The family will receive visitors Wednesday October 11, 2017 from 6:00-8:00pm at Archer Funeral Home in Seymour.
The family is holding a memorial service on Saturday, October 14, 2017 @ 2:00pm at Lake Ridge Baptist Church in Cedar Hill, TX.
