Joyce Fritz

Joyce Fritz, 78 of Seymour, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019 in Wichita Falls.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Randy Branson officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Joyce was born November 23, 1940 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Alfred and Rachel Hunn Johnson. She was a graduate of North Chicago High School and received her certification as a dental hygienist from Northwestern. She worked as a dental hygienist for 40 years. Joyce married Duane Fritz on June 19, 1985 in Reno, Nevada. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carrie Stewart.

She is survived by her husband, Duane Fritz of Seymour; a daughter, Robi Fritz of Seymour; a step-son, Brian Fritz of Cottage Grove, Oregon; 2 brothers, Larry Porter and Ralph Porter both of Battle Creek, Michigan; 2 sisters, Jean Wolford and Judi Jandernoa both of Grand Rapids, Michigan and 2 grandchildren, Kiana Stewart and Michael Morgan.

The family suggests memorials to the Seymour Arts Council, c/o Pat Mooney, 1427 FM 422, Seymour, Texas 76380.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
