Julia J Alvarado

Julia J. Alvarado, 73, of Seymour, passed away peacefully in her sleep after her battle with cancer on June 24, 2017.

Liturgical Services will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Deacon Jim Novak, officiating. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Julia was born in Robstown, TX on April 12, 1944, to E.P. (Gene) and Sara Alvarado. She moved to Seymour in the early 60’s, Julia retired from Russell Newman and Seymour ISD. She was preceded in death by her parents and both sets of grandparents, a sister, a nephew, 3 great nieces and 2 sisters in law.
Julia is survived by her son and wife, Rosendo (Ross) and Marla Alvarado, grandchildren Selena and Jacob Alvarado. Also survived by 4 brothers Macario, Miguel, Daniel and David and 6 Sisters Alicia, Amanda, Josie, Linda, Lupe and Yolanda; several nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
