Karen Kaye Carnahan, 62 of Seymour, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 in Wichita Falls.
No services will be held at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Karen was born on August 24, 1963 in Wolf Point, Montana to Willard Noven and Shirley Elizabeth Bretzke Lee. She was married to Terry Carnahan for 25 years, was a proud military wife, following him throughout his military career along with their 4 children. Terry remains her best friend to this day. Karen was the store manager of Allsups for a number of years, until a heart attack wouldn’t allow her to work any longer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Shirley Bretzke Lee and 3 sisters, Claudia Anne, Nadine Lee and Debbie Strom.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Derrick Carnahan and Justin and Tiffany Carnahan all of Seymour; 2 daughters, Lynette and Corky Petty of Seymour and Kayla Copeland and Devin of Arlington; 8 grandchildren, Camryn, Lily, Jace, Payton, Ava, Rowen, Conrad and Kynzi and her siblings, Bob (Geraldine) Lee of Ellinwood, Kansas, Darwin “Snook” (Kathy) Lee, Allen “Swede” (Diane) Lee and Wanda Lanchbury, all of Post Falls, Idaho, Jackie “Jake” (Teiney) Carver of Paulsbo, Washington, Vonnetta “Net” Smith of Winnemucca, Nevada and her twin sister, and best friend Kathy Eisch of Great Falls, Montana. She also had numerous nieces and nephew as well. All of her family to which she loved very much.
