Kenneth Wayne Rogers, 56, of Seymour, passed away Friday, May 8, 2015 in Seymour.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., in the Knox City Cemetery with Anthony Turnbow, officiating, under the direction of Archer Funeral Home, Seymour, Texas.

Kenneth was born August 18, 1958 in Knox City to Henry and Arabelle Reynolds Rogers. He attended school in Knox City. As a young man, he rode saddlebroncs. He worked as a driller in the oil field and loved chicken fighting. He married Roxana Betts in February 4, 2002 in Wichita Falls. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Jimmy Rogers and Charles Wesley Rogers.

Survivors include his wife, Roxy Betts Rogers of Seymour; a son, Kenneth Rogers, Jr. of Austin; 3 daughters, Stevie Rogers of Amarillo, April Rogers Sumners of Harrisburg, Illinois and Lona Rogers of Haskell; 4 step-children, Brandi Walker of Byers, Isabella Conroy and Johnathon Schmegner, both of Wichita Falls and Steven Schmegner of Seymour; his parents, Henry and Arabelle Rogers of Rochester; 2 sisters, Belinda Bell of Rochester and Melissa Befort of Longview; a brother, Henry Rogers, II of Rule; and 9 grandchildren.
