Lola Sandra Sessions, 69, of Seymour, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 in Seymour.
Services will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church with Benny Archer and Connie Futch, officiating. Burial will be in the Henson Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Sandra was born December 4, 1946 in Haskell to Bill and Hattie Standefer Henshaw. She was a 1965 graduate of Seymour High School. Sandra married Charles (C.T.) Sessions on September 4, 1965 in Seymour. She worked for Bunkley and Jones for 42 years and served as an election judge for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Emmaus Community. She served on the Board of the Seymour Cemetery Association. Sandra's passion was her yard. She loved to work outside. Her love for her family was never ending. She was the ROCK!!
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charles Sessions of Seymour; a daughter, Jennifer Vickers and husband, Bud of Seymour; a son, Chris Sessions and wife, Rebecca of Wichita Falls; 5 grandchildren, Cassie Cook and husband, James of Vernon, Taryn Vickers, Garrett McPherson, Kohler Sessions and Kobe Sessions, all of Wichita Falls; 2 great grandchildren, Mason and Addison; and her boxer, Lulabelle.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to the Seymour Volunteer Fire Department, the Seymour EMS or the Baylor County Free Library
