Lorene Covington, 92, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 in Seymour.

Services will be Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., at the First Baptist Church with Dr. David Warren, officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday in the Paducah Cemetery, under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Lorene was born in the month of July in a farmhouse in King County, halfway between Guthrie and Paducah to Claude and Bessie Messer Parks. She was a 1940 graduate of Valley View High School. She married Cliff Covington on October 24, 1942 in Crowell. He died September 9, 2011. She was a member of the Seymour Hospital Auxiliary for 25 years and a member of the First Baptist Church.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Archie Claudette Gentry and husband, Don of Seymour and Diona Sue Cerrillo of Lovington, N.M.; 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
