Mickey Hardin

Mickey Hardin, 65 of Seymour, passed away Saturday July 15, 2017 in Seymour.

Services will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., at the First Christian Church with Benny Archer officiating. Burial will be in the Henson Cemetery in Red Springs under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Michael Phillip (Mickey) Hardin was born August 26, 1951 in Seymour to Grady E. and Mozelle Harris Hardin. He was a graduate of Seymour High School and attended Abilene Christian College. Mickey married Brenda Sue Kuhns on May 8, 1976 in San Angelo. He worked for GTE/Verizon for 30 years, retiring in 2004. He moved back to Seymour in 2006. Mickey was a member of the Western Little League Board in San Angelo and the Communication Workers of America. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Hardin of Seymour; a daughter, Lindsay Hardin Nix and husband, Cameron of Seymour; a son, Cole Hardin of Lubbock; a brother, Garry Hardin and wife, Lou of Seymour; a sister, Beverly Carlock and husband, Billy Joe of Seymour; father and mother-in-law, Fred and Lillie Kuhns of San Angelo; brother-in-law, Butch Kuhns and wife, Cheryl of San Angelo; sister-in-law, Kathy Sheen and husband, Terrill of San Angelo; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
