Mona Pribyla, 77, of Seymour, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 in Seymour.
Mass will be held
Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.
, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Albert Kanjirathumkal and Deacon Jim Novak, officiating. Burial will be in the Bomarton Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Mona was born January 3, 1938 in Goree to Farris and Lila Fay Jones Mobley. She was a graduate of Goree High School. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Education from Hardin Simmons University, where she was a member of the White Horse Riders and a Rodeo Queen. She taught school in Arlington, before marrying Charles Patrick Pribyla in Goree on September 2, 1962. He died on February 22, 2015. Mona taught school and coached in Goree. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Altar Society, was a Eucharist minister and taught Catechism Classes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Farris and Lila Fay Mobley.
Survivors include 2 sons, John Pribyla and wife, Sara and Joe Pribyla and wife, Tracie, all of Seymour; a daughter, Monica Fields and husband, Justin of Wichita Falls; 3 sisters, Werva Bingham of Hideaway, Delores Lambeth and husband, Sandy and Gaylia Yost, all of Munday; and 5 grandchildren.
Wake Service will be at
6:00 p.m.
