Patricia Powell

Patricia Powell, 76, of Conroe, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 in Conroe.

Services will be held Friday, December 18, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., at the First Baptist Church, Seymour, Texas with Rev. Rod Payne, officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home, Seymour, Texas.

Patricia was born December 19, 1938 in Baylor County to William Frank and Mary Pearl McCord Rhame. She was raised at the dam at Lake Kemp, where she loved to play around and every time they drove thru this area, she made sure they went out there to look at it. She attended Seymour Schools. She married Bobby Powell in New Mexico in 1955. She and her husband had lived in Wichita Falls for over 30 years, moving to Conroe in January of this year. She was a homemaker and worked as a dispatcher in Seymour for a few years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Patricia loved to fish and adored having her grandchildren for a few weeks every summer.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Powell of Conroe; a son, Steve Powell and wife, Malinda of Montgomery; a daughter, Cindy Powell and J.R. of Merkel; 3 grandchildren, Elizabeth Rice and husband, Kevin, Ashley Brooks and Aaron Powel and wife, Karina; and 8 great grandchildren, Natalea, Hailey, Emberly, Devon, McKayla, Ciara, Ryan and Luke.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
