Phyllis M Barrick

Phyllis Marie Barrick, 66, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 in Iowa Park.

Memorial services will be held Monday, October 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Hubbard, officiating under the direction of Archer Funeral Home, Seymour, Texas.

Phyllis was born September 8, 1950 in Knox County to J.B. and Evelyn Stavinoha Booe. She grew up in Munday and was a graduate of Munday High School. She was a stay at home mother, living in Knox County. She married Rickey Barrick in 1984 in Seymour. In 1978, she went to LVN School at Vernon Regional Junior College. For the past 38 years, Phyllis worked as an LVN in and around Baylor and Knox Counties. She was preceded in death by her father, J.B. Booe.

She is survived by her husband, Rickey Barrick of Seymour; 5 sons, Stacy James of Dalhart, Chad James of Wichita Falls, Jay Barrick of Weatherford, Erik Barrick of Arlington and Dustin Barrick of Seymour; her mother, Evelyn Booe of Munday; 4 grandchildren, Justin, Gavin, Audrey and Olivia and 1 one great granddaughter, Harmony.

Visitation will follow the services in the Fellowship Hall
