Rickey Stone

Rickey Stone went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 17, 2025 at 8:50 a.m.

A gathering to Celebrate Rickey’s life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 12 noon at Archer Funeral Home, Seymour, Texas.

Rickey was born on December 13, 1955 in Silverton, Texas to Billy Wayne and Patricia (Stout) Stone. He married Sherry Haynes on July 2, 1976. Rickey loved sports, cars, motorcycles and coaching kids. He never met a stranger and adored his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Patricia Stone and his son, Aaron Craig Stone.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Stone; 2 brothers, Ronney and Michelle Stone and Kevin Stone; mother-in-law, Barbara Haynes; sister-in-law, Diane Bumpass; 5 nephews, Jeremy and Vicki Stone, Brandon and Alllyson Stone, Chris and Samantha Stone, Skylor Stone and Cade and Christy Stone and several great nieces and nephews.
