Ronnie Hostas

Ronnie Hostas, 77 of Seymour, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 in Wichita Falls.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 2:00 p.m., at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Bose Jujuvarapu officiating. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Ronnie was born on November 23, 1948 in Seymour to M.J. and Julie Sosolik Hostas. He was a graduate of Seymour High School and received his mechanic certification in Lubbock. Ronnie married Cindy Boone on July 18, 1970 in Seymour. He worked as a mechanic, was a co-owner of the Western Auto in Seymour, an insurance agent with Hostas Insurance and a realtor. He served as the district president of the KJT, was a past hospital board member, a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents, M.J. and Julie Hostas.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy Hostas of Seymour; 3 daughters, Cathy Hostas of Seymour, Jennifer and Tony Shahan of Munday and Elizabeth Hostas of Seymour; 2 grandchildren, Brooke and Calvin; 2 brothers, Kevin Hostas and Eric and Trina Hostas all of Seymour and 2 sisters, Judy and Gene Wheeler and Melissa and Darin Hayes all of Seymour.

Rosary will be held at the church on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
