Sherry Darlene Jones

Sherry Darlene Jones, 70 of Seymour, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026 in Wichita Falls.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m. at Archer Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Darlene was born on April 23, 1955 in Rockwall, Texas to Johnny and Maggie Hilton Hawkins. She was a 1972 graduate of Mesquite High School in Mesquite, Texas. Sherry married Randy Jones on June 15, 1974. She worked as an LVN and an EMT for Baylor County for over 20 years. Sherry loved to fish, to garden and just to be outdoors. She loved to spend time with her grandkids and her dog, Punkin.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Randy Jones of Seymour; 2 sons, Cody and Ashley Jones of Seymour and Casey and Jessica Jones of Slaton; a sister, Cheryl Hawkins of Forney; 3 grandchildren, Hagan and Brooklynn Jones of Slaton, Savanna and Colton Scitern of Anson and Casen Jones of Slaton and 1 great grandchild, Haizley Jones of Slaton.

The family suggests memorials in Sherry’s memory to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
