Terry Marshall Edwards, 84 of Wichita Falls passed away Monday, September 11, 2017 in Wichita Falls.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bomarton Cemetery with Rev. Russell Roberts, officiating, under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Terry was born June 18, 1933 in Goree to Hubert and Ammie Hammonds Edwards. He attended Goree schools. Terry married Billie Pierce on January 15, 1958 in Frederick, Oklahoma. He worked as a truck driver, a rancher and in road construction. He bought Ferrier Brothers in Seymour and later owned Terry Edwards Construction in Austin and was instrumental in the building of just about every parking lot in Austin. He was an amazing teller of stories about all his adventures. Terry was an accomplished wood carver and an all around handyman who could literally make something out of nothing. He was a man's man who loved hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Edwards of Wichita Falls; 3 daughters, Marsha Stone and husband, Ben of Como, Tx., Cindy Matthews of Ruidoso, N.M. and Sandy Kilgo and husband, Deral of Austin; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
