Thomas Matthews

Thomas Matthews, 72, of Seymour, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 in Wichita Falls.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., in the Riverview Cemetery, with Benny Archer, officiating, under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Thomas was born December 13, 1943 in Lampasas, Texas to Jim and Marie Blackburn Matthews. He owned his own carpentry business specializing in home re-modeling for many years and also worked in road construction. He had been a Seymour resident for the last few years..

He is survived by Karen Vita of Seymour; 2 daughters, Casey and Holly; 3 step-children, Gloria, Bubba and Ginger; a sister, Joan; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
