William Royce Baxley

Royce Baxley, 80 of Seymour, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022 in Seymour with his family by his side.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.  Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

William Royce Baxley was born September 9, 1942 in Mabank to Preston and Irma Carson Baxley and was a 1961 graduate of Seagoville High School.  He worked as a press operator for various newspapers, the last 10 years of his career for the newspaper in Kilgore.  Royce married Jan Caraway on May 5, 1990 in Mabank.  He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Seymour.  Royce loved going boating and camping.

He is survived by his wife, Jan Baxley of Seymour; his twin sister, Joyce and Junior Gross of Eustace; a brother, Ronnie Baxley of Garland and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
