Wilma Ruth (Sims) St. Clair Feemster, 90, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, October 04, 2015 in Seymour.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 5,2015 in the Masonic Cemetery with Benny Archer, officiating, under the direction of Archer Funeral Home, Seymour, Texas.
Wilma Ruth was born August 3, 1925 in Dickens County to George P. and Ruth Nalley Sims. The family moved to Motley County and later to Seymour in 1937. She was a 1942 graduate of Seymour High School. She worked at the grocery store her parents owned and later at the drug store they bought after selling the grocery store.
She married Mack Donald St. Clair March 3, 1946 in Seymour. They were the proud parents of three children, Dannye Ruth, Judy Ann and George Don. Mack died November 8, 1969. Wilma Ruth married Clyde D. Feemster September 7, 1975 in Vera. He enjoyed having a family and was a good step-father and grandfather. He died February 11, 1997 in Vera. She moved back to Seymour, where she resided until her death. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Dannye Darling.
She worked as a bookkeeper for Damron Bros. Cattle Company, before working at the First National Bank in Seymour. She always enjoyed working and meeting people.
She attended First Baptist Church and was a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class, and an active member of the Baylor County Museum.
She is survived by a son, Don St. Clair of Seymour; a daughter, Judy Chapman of Blanchard, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren, Charles Mack Darling, Amanda Maag, John Thomas St. Clair and Melissa Driver; 1 great grandson, Zachary Driver; a brother, George Sims, Jr.; a nephew, Chris Sims; and many loving members of the St. Clair and Feemster families, plus good neighbors and friends through the years.
