Barbara Jo Ellison, 80, of Seymour passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 in Seymour.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
Barbara Jo was born April 6, 1938 in Ft. Worth to Aubrey and June Kenney Hanks. She was a graduate of Lockney High School. Barbara and her first husband, Richard Ellison owned and operated Dick's Automotive in Lockney for many years. She moved to Seymour in 1993. Barbara was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Ellison.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Donice Casey of Seymour; a son, Craig Ellison and wife, Julie of Graham; a daughter, Paula Blackerby of Seymour; 1 brother, Don Hanks of Oklahoma City, Ok; 1 sister, Kay Altom of Maybank; 5 grandchildren, Mica Barry, Jana Edwards, Kyler Ellison and wife, Shelby, Konner Ellison and wife, Krista and Seth Blackerby; and 5 great grandchildren, Charlee, Kade, Karson, Kamreigh and Kreyton.
