Christy Marlen Pruitt, 55 of Seymour, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 in Wichita Falls.

Memorial graveside services will be held Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., in the Vera Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Christy Marlen was born on April 21, 1966 in Barranquilla, Colombia to Dallas and Helen Dycus Pruitt. She attended Seymour Schools. She worked many jobs during her life to support the loves of her life, her 4 children. Her most important role was being a mom. Christy Marlen was preceded in death by her parents, Dallas Pruitt and Helen and R.D. Busby.

She is survived by her 4 children, William Glen Worthington of Seymour, Christina Riggs of Millsap, Casey Durall and Danielle Williams, both of Iowa Park; 10 grandchildren; 1 brother, Jerry Pruitt of Seymour; 2 Step-brothers, Rodney Busby of Wichita Falls and Robert Busby of Katy; 2 step-sisters, Nehwanna Moody of Pearland and Anita Tidwell of Emporia and her 2 fur babies.
