Our Lord carried home another lovely angel the morning of Wednesday, August 23rd. Eunice Sue Walker but known to all most everyone that knew her as Mamma Sue, is having a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time, her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing, dancing with a new body and reading to her heart’s content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed.

Mama Sue taught anyone that knew her a valuable life lesson of perseverance, overcoming polio as a child then battling scoliosis the remainder of her life that didn't slow her down. She was a strong woman who could accomplish anything she set her mind to with no complaints. She loved spending time with her coffee group and could be found volunteering at the nursing homes over the years in Floydada and Seymour painting ladies nails. Mama Sue also cherished the time she spent working with her Seymour 1954 Class Reunion committee. Socializing with friends and family brought her so much joy.

Sue was born in Bomarton, Tx to Lilburn & Rosie Pierce. She was preceded by her mother, father, daughter Billie Sue Walker and sister Jonnie Faye Roddy. She leaves behind a devoted husband of 57 years Roy Lee Walker. Son Ronnie Walker of Wichita Falls, Daughter Jill and husband Rick Bennett of Justiceburg; son Jimmy Don Moore of Florida; son Troy and wife Jai Walker of Kerrville. Mama Sue leaves behind a legacy of love to 9 Grandkids, 14 Great grandkids and 1 Great Great grandbaby..

Mama Sue was the center of her family and will be greatly missed. The family chose to have a small private ceremony and she was returned to her Bomarton roots. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
