Obituary

Freddie Moss, 85 of Seymour, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023 in Wichita Falls.

Services will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Seymour with Benny Archer officiating.  Burial will follow in the Megargel Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Freddie was born on August 20, 1937 in Allendale to Sam and Bee Miller Moss.  He was a graduate of Megargel High School.  He also graduated with a degree in t.v. repair from Draughon’s Business College.  Freddie married Anita Morgan on February 19, 1955 in Wichita Falls.  He lived most of his life in Megargel where he farmed and ranched.  Freddie was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Bee Moss; 4 brothers, Herman Moss, Jimmy Moss, S.J. Moss and Sonny Moss and a son-in-law, Roger Teems.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Moss of Seymour; 3 sons, David and Pam Moss of Iowa Park, Terry and Holly Moss of Megargel and Todd and Nannette Moss of Brushy Creek; a daughter, Rhonda Moss Teems of Seymour; a sister, Karen Doty of Blum; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
