Hector E. Landa

Hector Enrique Landa-Salas, 53 of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021 in Ft. Worth.

Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Bose Jujuvarapu and Deacon Brad Samuelson officiating.  Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Hector was born October 23, 1967 in Durango, Mexico to Hector and Laura Salas Landa Flores and attended school in Mexico.  He married Lorena Diaz on November 13, 1992 in Durango, Mexico.  The couple came to Seymour in 2003 where Hector went to work for Chuck Myers.  He then worked for Dean Myers and in 2010 went to work for Monty Morris at Poverty Flats Ranch.  Hector was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. 

He is survived by his wife, Lorena Landa of Seymour; a son, Hector Landa-Diaz of Seymour; a daughter, Leslie Landa-Diaz of Seymour; his parents, Hector and Laura Landa-Flores of Durango, Mexico; a brother, Esau Landa-Salas of Durango, Mexico and 2 sisters, Karla Landa-Salas of Durango, Mexico and Mereobb Landa-Salas of Guanajuato, Mexico.

Rosary will be at 6:00 p.m., Monday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
