Jane (Petty) Jeter

Jane Jeter, 79 of Seymour passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 in Seymour.

Private family services will be held at a later date.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Jane was born March 21, 1942 in Seymour to W.G. and Alease Mayers Petty.  She attended Seymour schools and received her cosmetology license while living in Abilene.  She married Roy Don Jeter on January 24, 1959 in Seymour.  Jane worked as a hairdresser, retiring in 2014.  She was a longtime member of the First Christian Church in Seymour.  Jane was preceded in death by her parents, W.G. and Alease Petty; her husband, Roy Don Jeter on September 25, 2014; her beloved daughter, Mitzi Frank on November 1, 2014 and an infant daughter, Danna Ranee Jeter who died on October 17, 1959.

She is survived by 3 grandchildren, Monica, Whitney and Jakob; 6 great grandchildren; a brother, Michael Petty of Throckmorton and 2 sisters, Susan Ermis and Denise Petty, both of Wichita Falls.
