Joshua Ray McKinney

Joshua Ray McKinney, 35 of Seymour, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 in Seymour.

Services will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., at the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Roberts and Rev. Peter McKinney officiating.  Burial will be in the Old Seymour Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Joshua was born November 20, 1985 in Seymour to John Julius and Georgia Mitchell McKinney.  He attended Goree schools and worked as a handyman and mowed lawns in and around Seymour. 

Survivors include his parents, John and Georgia McKinney of Seymour; a son, Ja’Marrion McKinney; 2 daughters, Tanaya King and Za’Raya King; 2 brothers, John Mitchell and Tyrone Hardeman and 3 sisters, Tracy Jackson, Katherine Mitchell and Mary McKinney.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
