Marianne (Mann) Johnson

Marianne Johnson, 74 of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in Seymour.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., at the Calvary Baptist Church with Dean Nelson officiating.  Cremation and service arrangements under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Marianne was born on October 2, 1946 in Bayreuth, Germany to Fritz and Gerda Leopold Mann.  She married Jesse Van Johnson on August 5, 1983 in Germany.  She came to the U.S. in 1985.  Marianne worked as a dietary cook at a nursing home in Iowa Park and then worked for 15 years as a dietary cook at the Seymour Hospital.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Van Johnson on October 13, 2018 and three brothers, Bernhardt Mann, Helmut Mann and Dieter Mann.

Survivors include her daughter, Susanne Hein of Seymour; a son, Danny Johnson of Seymour; a step-son, Jason Johnson of Abilene; 1 niece, Sylvia Hoffman and husband, Matze of Germany and 1 great nephew, David Hoffman of Germany.
