Mitzi Jolene Torrez, 53 of Seymour, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024 at her home in Seymour.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Mitzi was born July 16, 1970 in Seymour to James and Janelle Thorn Sturgeon. She was a 1989 graduate of Seymour High School. Mitzi married Austin Torrez on November 17, 2006 in Seymour. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Janelle Sturgeon; a daughter, Ashley Randal and her brother, Thomas (T.J.) Sturgeon.

Survivors include her husband, Austin Torrez; 4 children, Jessica Fowler of San Antonio, Catlin Cook, Justin Cook and Cassie Flores, all of Seymour; a sister, Cynthia White of Seymour and 14 grandchildren.
