Shirline (Richardson) Wagoner

Shirline Wagoner, 83, of Lubbock passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 in Lubbock.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at 1:00 p.m., in the Round Timber Cemetery with Benny Archer officiating, under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Shirline was born January 20, 1939 in Seymour to Henry Lee and Mildred Pauline Gahagan Richardson.  She attended Seymour Schools and was a graduate of Draughon’s Business College.  Shirline worked in the insurance business and was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority and Insurance Women’s of Texas.  She married Thomas L. Nix on June 25, 1954 in Rule and later married Robert Hank Wagoner on May 2, 1992 in Wichita Falls.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Monica Hightower of Lubbock and Sheryl and Brian Grady of Plano; a son, Daniel and Cheryl Nix of Wichita Falls; 7 grandchildren, Dustin and Jenna Hightower, Lauren and Doug Swartz, Matthew Nix, Alexis Nix, Jonathan Floyd, Heather and Chad Eanes and Madison and Matt Sistrunk; and 4 great grandchildren, Kelton, Mason, Lilah and Addisyn.

The family suggests memorials be sent to the Round Timber Cemetery Association.
