Susie (Gooding) Prince

Susie Gooding Prince, 69 of McKinney, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 in Mckinney.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Riverview Cemetery with Rev. Sonny Smart officiating.  Services are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.

Susie was born February 9, 1951 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Norman and Clara Gooding.  She was a graduate of Seymour High School and received a Bachelor’s of Applied Arts and Sciences from Midwestern State University.  Susie worked as a claims adjuster for State Farm in Dallas, retiring in March of 2006.  She was a member of the Eastern Star and was a Baptist.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Cindy Webster of McKinney and Sheree Mayberry of Sherman; a brother, Norman (Clay) Gooding of Seymour; 2 grandchildren, Taylor Bradshaw Davis and Emma Leigh Thomas.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
